Review: Hex Hall

Hex Hall
Hex Hall by Rachel Hawkins
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Hex Hall is a story about a witch, Sophie Mercer, who is sent to Hex Hall Reform school as a punishment to abusing her powers. There, she begins to understand who she really is and meets Jenna, who soon became her best friend despite everyone’s objection.

As I slowly got into the story, I began to enjoy it more. From beginning to end, I found it easy to go through. Yes, some parts felt rushed and undetailed. However, when I ignored it I enjoyed the story much better.

I can’t say that it’s the best but certainly it isn’t the worst. And the cliffhanger would certainly leave you wanting more.
