Review: All They Need

All They Need
All They Need by Sarah Mayberry
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Ratings: 3.5/4

My First Sarah Mayberry book, and I can say that I’m very impressed. I had such hard luck recently with finding a book that piqs my interest. This one sure did it.

Melanie Porter suffered an abusive marriage. Even after her divorce, she is still haunted by that horrible past. It kept her away from pursuing her own happiness without looking back at those remarks, if not physical abuse, her husband used to throw at her. And on the other hand, There’s Flynn Randall, a handsome, successful and single business man. As his father struggles with his deteriorating memory , Flynn had to sacrifice his own needs and dreams to care for his father.

The most amazing thing about this book is how these characters are portrayed. They were written with so much depth and emotions that I was mesmerized at how close to real they were. Which I can’t say as much about the story, ‘coz it was predictable. However, there were some bits that I absolutely loved and some hilarious lines that cracked me up too.

That’s definitely one of the most surprising books I’ve read this year.
