Review: Remember Me?

Remember Me?
Remember Me? by Sophie Kinsella
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This book started with “okay” then moved to “good” then “this is interesting” and finally “Wow, it’s real good”. I mean what did I really expect from Sophie Kinsella?

This story is about Lexie Smart, who was in a coma for six weeks because of a car accident. Only when she wakes up, she discovers that she lost her memory of the last three years of her life. Then, more surprises come to her as she goes back to living ‘that’ life hoping she’d remember. And during that time, she uncovers who is telling her the truth and who is just taking advantage of her amnesia amongst other stuff.

Lexie’s journey was really fun to read through. The characters were rounded and multi-dimensional. They’re reactions were a bit predictable yet real. I think Sophie K. also managed to diverse her characters this time, which is really a great thing in these types of books.

Final Verdict: Highly entertaining and recommended to read for a dull day.
