Review: The Trial

The Trial
The Trial by Franz Kafka
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

The Trial is a story of Josef K., a banker who gets a mysterious visit by some men. He then learns that he’s being accused, of what charge? he, and us for that matter, don’t know about? Josef K. tries to find ways to prove his innocence but would that be fruitful?

I couldn’t have read a more intriguing book than this. The whole time I read it I kept wondering “what is his charge?” but then it’s dystopian novel and it’s resembles Orwell’s [b:1984|5470|1984|George Orwell|http://photo.goodreads.com/books/1328718447s/5470.jpg|153313] in its major theme.
